Because of contributions from people like you, the Boston Bar Foundation has helped to bridge the gap in legal services funding for organizations that meet critical needs, invested in community services projects that improve the lives of those in our community and provided educational and employment opportunities for Boston youth.

This year alone, we have invested over $1 million in the Boston community in several inspiring ways. We’ve funded programs that give children access to equal education and life opportunities, provide counseling and advice to homeless and at risk veterans, and help thousands of families facing foreclosure learn their legal rights and fight displacement.  On the community service front, we’ve funded summer jobs for Boston teens, supported extensive and unique pro bono efforts and helped equip high school students with the financial knowledge they need to succeed in life.

Founded by the Boston Bar Association over 50 years ago, the BBF has maintained a long-standing commitment to supporting pro bono and public service projects of the bar and engaging lawyers in the kind of projects that improve the lives of those in our community.  Because of this partnership, we have helped make our justice system more effective, our students more knowledgeable and the City of Boston a better place to live and work.
