The BBA Annual Meeting
Join us on November 14th at the Fairmont Copley Plaza as we transform the BBA Annual Meeting event and present an evening dedicated to amplifying the remarkable achievements of attorneys in our community.
Beacon Awards
The Beacon Awards recognize individuals, organizations and corporations that are forging innovative paths toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive profession and community. The evening combines networking with award presentations and opportunities to meet and share ideas with lawyers who are committed to making Boston a truly inclusive place in which to live and work.
John & Abigail Adams Benefit
The signature fundraising event of the Boston Bar Foundation, the Adams Benefit draws over 1,000 attendees to the iconic Museum of Fine Arts Boston to raise money for grants to legal services organizations and to support innovating public service projects.
Late Night at the Museum
Part of the Adams Benefit, Late Night at the Museum is an event that brings together law students and newer lawyers to meet, dine and dance and as they get to know each other and begin to lay the groundwork for successful careers in the law.
The Haskell Cohn Distinguished Judicial Service Award
On Wednesday, May 15th, the BBA honored Chief Justice Mark V. Green of the Massachusetts Appeals Court with the Haskell Cohn Distinguished Judicial Service Award. Named for former BBA President (1969-71) Haskell Cohn, the Award is presented annually to a member of the Massachusetts judiciary, or a resident of Massachusetts who is a member of the Federal judiciary, who has distinguished him or herself in a manner that calls for special recognition.
Law Day
The 2024 Law Day Celebration welcomed guests from throughout the Boston legal community to celebrate the rule of law, the role of lawyers in our community and the strength of our legal network. Gathering at historic Boston Symphony Hall, attendees enjoyed an exceptional cocktail reception, live entertainment, and an inspirational program.
