Support Public Service

The Boston Bar Foundation provides critical support for the Public Service activities of the Boston Bar Association. Over the last year, BBA Public Service programs have directly touched over 5,000 lives and engaged over 1,100 volunteers. 100% of every donation goes to fund BBA projects, and will help us to continue to expand these programs and our impact on the City of Boston.

This year alone:

  • We quickly responded to the tragic events of Marathon Monday, mobilizing volunteers to help small business owners and providing resources and assistance to victims through the Marathon Assistance Project.
  • We taught more of Boston’s teenagers to be financially responsible adults through the Financial Literacy Program
  • We created a record number of opportunities for Boston high school students to gain valuable work experience and get an inside look at the legal profession through the Summer Jobs Program.
  • We expanded our service to landlords and tenants seeking assistance at the Boston Housing Court through the Lawyer for a Day program.

Volunteers, donors and community partners provide the leadership and service to keep these initiatives strong.  We hope that you will help us ensure a solid base of support for our work in the community by making a tax-deductible contribution today.
