  • The Reception

Doors for the event will open at 6:30pm and guests will be directed straight to the Shapiro Courtyard for the popular cocktail reception, featuring a jazz quartet. During the reception, which runs until 8pm, the BBF will present its annual Public Service award to John Hancock Financial Services for their MLK Summer Scholars Program.

  • The Dinner

When the cocktail reception concludes at 8:00pm, guests are invited to dinner—anywhere in the museum. Dinner stations and seating will be spread throughout the Upper and Lower Rotunda of the Museum, the Koch Gallery, the Contemporary Art Wing, and the Bravo Restaurant. After you’ve finished eating, check out the many galleries of the museum, as they will all be open to guests throughout dinner—some will even include live musical entertainment!

Dinner will be served buffet style and will cater to a wide range of gourmet tastes. The open bars will continue to serve top shelf drinks and signature cocktails throughout the entire evening. Menu to include:

    • Bistro Filet of Beef with Sauteed Mushrooms and Fig Vincotto Jus
    • Cider Glazed Atlantic Salmon
    • Local Wheat Berry Salad, Golden Raisins, Kale, EVOO, Balsamic
    • Potato and Artichoke Tart with Peperonata
    • Seared Atlantic Cod with Roasted Corn Salad
    • Grilled Chicken Breast with Asparagus and Ginger
    • Roasted Potatoes with Rosemary Salt
    • Arugula Salad, Radicchio, Confit Cherry Tomatoes and Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette

  • The Entertainment

Beginning with a jazz quartet during cocktail hour, a variety of musical acts during dinner, and ending with one of Boston's best DJ's for dessert and dancing, this year's Adams Benefit has no shortage of entertainment options.  Make sure to visit the Koch Gallery to see the string quartet, the Bravo Restaurant for dueling pianos, and the Contemporary Art Wing for our special musical guest Rhett Price, who was recently featured in an article on Boston Magazine online.

After dinner, make sure to treat yourself to dessert and then hit the dancefloor with the rest of the guests and the attendees of Late Night at the Museum, as DJ B-Robb mixes an eclectic set to please all musical tastes.
