The Boston Bar Foundation generously supports a number of the Boston Bar Association's public service initiatives. Programs like those listed below have made a meaningful contribution to the Greater Boston community for many years.
Since 1993, law firms, government agencies, nonprofit legal offices and in-house law departments have given nearly 750 young adults the chance to gain valuable insight into the legal world. The program is supported in part by the M. Ellen Carpenter Memorial Fund and the Austin Jones Fund.
Since 1986, lawyers and judges have visited public school classrooms throughout Boston to expose young people to the legal field. The program is supported in part by the Francis S. Moran Fund.
Since 2005, this program has given students throughout Greater Boston the tools they need to make smart financial decisions. It is supported in part by the Charles P. Normandin Fund.
